East Coast could be expecting its last month season of exceptional weather, the weather will start changing by month end. as the rest of the June, July & August, the North West, North, East will provide amazing experience of water sport lovers as Surfing in Arugam Bay, Scuba diving in Nilaveli and Batticaloa, wildlife & Bird spotteras Mannar, Jaffna, Wilpattu, Kumana, Galoya, Sinharaja, Yala, Udawalawe, as well as trekker in chase of off the beaten track in lost trail in the tea countries or even in the bushes of Galoya

 

The downsouth beaches since April can be quiet dangerous, most hotels set a red flags

ENCOUNTER THE WILDLIFE?

Similar as August,  September the North and the East offer super dry &  sunny days, ride up the island in stopping by Wilpattu, Mannar, Jaffna all the way to Nilaveli. Get the lush to encounter Elephant gathering in Angamedilla & Kaudulla, as well as Asian Leopard in Wilpattu and multiples others species across Wasgamuwa, Galoya & Kumana where the last one as well as the North (Mannar and Jaffna) offer the best of the migrant birds of the whole island.

Same it isn’t at its peak weather season, venture into Yala for its rare quantity of Asian Leopard, Sinharaja for its endemic birds species and Horton for its trek.

September is the last very month to spot Dolphin & Whales (Sperm and Blue) in Nilaveli / Trincomale.

Yala block 1 will be closed from 01 September until the 31th of October
