Weather, when to go, What to do?

The month of season transition which is as March an amazing month to travel all around Sri Lanka in any way. The East Side start getting less rain, get away to venture to rediscover Kumana and Yala who are perfect to spot Leopard as well as spotted multiples birds. Take a more adventure way in taking a overnight nap in camping into one of the eastern National Park as Kumana, Galoya.

April is the month of the ended of the Adam’s Peak Piligrimage Season which started last December. You will still be able to climb it all year long (be aware of October & November continuous and un-consistant pouring rain) After the date of the Piligrimage, the lights enlighting the walk wont work, so do not forget to bring your headlight. From May to November you won’t cross many people

SINHALA & TAMIL NEW YEAR

The New Year’s celebration is all the more festive because it is observed by both Sinhala Buddhists and Tamil Hindus. The annual event is marked by religious ceremonies, family activities, traditional foods, colourful decorations and a general feeling of good will toward neighbours and friends. This important national festival, known as Avurudu in Sinhala and Puththandu in Tamil, is not celebrated in any other nation. It is unique to the people of Sri Lanka.

April is the last month of the season to sport Dolphins and Blue & Sperm whales in Downsouth, from next month every cruises will move to Nilaveli/trincomale

Kirina in the downsouth offer the best diving spot around the whole island of Sri Lanka which is only open March and April, come and join to dive great basses - Only for advance divers
