Jansen’s Bungalow, a delightful retreat located within close proximity to the Sinharaja Rainforest Reserve North Gate.

Facilities & Services
You will be able to share main living room to ended your day jungle incursion and share with the other habitants your day. All facilities are fully natural and priceless as take a dip in the natural pool down the bungalow trail, take a bike to cycle in the village little road.
Our experienced guide will bring you along during this 3 days, as well as a national park guide on day 2 as they will spot for you all birds, wildlife to be seen.
Day 1 (D)
At your arrival at your lodge set up at the border of the most untouched rainforest, proceed to your check in, take a time for resting or enjoy the scenery and location offered by this property. After dinner, we will depart for a short night walk to try to spot any sleeping birds,night mammals, insects, reptiles,…
At your return to your lodge, rest of the night free & easy.
Day 2 (B-PL-D)
Early morning, after your early breakfast depart for the whole day walk into the Rainforest of Sinharaja to spot endemic birds as well as wildlife. Pass through large path, river side & jungle incursion to venture yourself into the heart of this untouched rainforest which is only 21 km (13 mi) from east to west, and a maximum of 7 km (4.3 mi) from north to south, but it is a treasure trove of endemic species, including trees, insects, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals. Because of the dense vegetation, wildlife is not as easily seen as at dry-zone national parks such as Yala. There are about 3 elephants, and 15 or so leopards. The most common larger mammal is the endemic purple-faced langur, huge varieties of birds (with the highest number of endemic) also interesting mixed of Amphibians & Reptiles.
You will be back to your lodge for Tea Time, you will get some free time for you to walk around the Tea Field at the border of the Rainforest where more birds can be sport during sunset. Rest of the day free and easy.
Day 3 (B)
By 5:30am after a quick coffee break, we will embark to a 2hrs sunrise rainforest walk into the national park to spot early morning unique spotted wildlife and birds, cross finger you can spotted some endemic ones. Back to your bungalow, take some time to chill & grab your breakfast before your proceed to your check out and depart to your next destination.

What to Bring?
Head lamp, mosquito repellent, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, binocular, light trekking dry bag, swimwear, money (no ATM), water bottle, toiletries, basic first aid kit, sleepers, long pans & shirt as well as short & tshirt, sweater for the cold night, biscuit, very good trekking shoes (Similar as Salomon X trail) & trekking socks, leeches socks.

Daily based on a minimum booking of 2pax per departure. Solo traveller will incur single supplement charges. For those in chess to spot & snapshot the most number of endemic species of wildlife & birds walking through slippery trails inside astonishing primary and secondary rainforest. All walks within different trails totally adapted to family with children all ages (minimum 5yrs old), group of friends, couple or even individual.
