The property Set in 3.5 acres of open plan beach surrounds, it is a seriously chilled place to be. With no noise or light pollution at the camp, the only sounds you will hear are the waves crashing against the beach and the laughter of our guests as they unwind after a day at sea. Set only 5 min drive away from Arugambay where shops, restaurants, beach bars, ayuverdic centre, and a supermarket will be fully available. Accommodation Wooden cabanas (1-3 pax) Eight beach cabanas frame the camp are equipped with your own bathroom, five with open-air bathrooms so you can shower in the fresh air, and all have a western style toilet, hot shower and basin, double bed, netting and fan. There's a hammock outside so you can relax after a surf. Large dorm where 7 surfers can sleeps in and equipped with fans to keep you cool. The dorm has a shared bathroom. Alternatively, stay in the Folly: open air sleeping by the sea. Cuisine We serve simple and well garnished breakfast, lunch and dinner at the camp as well as a range of snacks to feed your hungry post surf bellies. Fill up on porridge, eggs, fruit or traditional curries and rice, all made with locally sourced ingredients and prepared freshly by our local chef. Special, non-spicy, dishes can be prepared for children. Similarly, we can prepare simple meals accordingly for people with special diet requirements or allergies. Facilities & Services You'll find a large community area in the middle to chill after your surf is full of places for you to relax; use it to read, play games, snooze after surf, and chat. Plus, make the most of the chillout zones that you'll find dotted around the camp, and comfy sunbeds that are down by the beach for you to top-up your tan. Guides Our surf instructors crew is made up of locals as their knowledge of the area, ocean, currents, and tides is some of the best out there. They will have you paddling, standing on your board, and catching and riding waves in no time– all with a big smile on your face.

Day 1 (D) At your arrival at the camp, you will proceed to your check in and installation. You will get an introduction by one of the surf coach our Friend Fawas who will give you an introduction to the camp and the surf program for the next day, You will get a welcome dinner around 7pm at the camp where you will get the chance to meet the other surfers who are currently here. the rest of the evening free and easy to chill at the camp or walk on the beach or even grab a tuk-tuk to go in town (15min ride) where multiple restaurants, bars run well night time (Don’t forget to get back to the camp not too late as the next morning you will need to be up by 4.30am) Day 2 (B-L-D) We wake-up at 4.30am (early bird catches the worm!) for tea/coffee and a banana. Pack a bag of boardshorts or bikini, your brand spanking, suncream and, of course, heaps of enthusiasm, and you’ll be met by your coach who will select a board suitable for your first session. We set off at 5am and travel by tuk tuk to the beach. At the beach we split up in to groups based on your surfing ability so that you’ll be in a group with a handful of other surfers that are at the same level as you. Your coach will spend some time on the sand explaining surf skills and setting a drill to warm you up, and then it’s straight out into the surf. After 90 minutes of surf we head back to the camp for breakfast, juice and post surf chats. After your breakfast you will be having a video feedback at the classroom. There’s an optional yoga class at 10am then you have the rest of the morning and early afternoon to chill, read, swim, sunbathe or take a walk into town. We head back to the beach around 2.30 for surf initiation session two. Your first day ends with a feast of fresh Sri Lankan cuisine and some cold beers with us. Day 3 (B) After your breakfast, pack up everything, farewell the team who took good care of you, before getting back on the road for new adventures.

Day 3-4 (B-L-D) Our timetable can vary due to local tides and weather conditions, but we tend to head out at 5am everyday. Meet to grab a banana and a coffee, then we all jump into the tuk tuks and head to the beach. After your morning surf, we have breakfast and yoga then you have until your afternoon theory session to chill. We head back to the beach at around 2.30pm, have 90 minutes in the water and then head back to camp. You can have your dinner. Day 5 (B-L-D) It’s usually on day five that you wake up in the morning feeling like you can’t get out of bed, and we know the pain! So day five is a rest day. You can sleep in and spend the day swinging in your hammock, explore the town, relax on the beach, hire a scooter and drive to the jungle or take advantage of our local wildlife, beauty and culture with a drive to Kumana National Park to spot elephants, water buffalo, alligators and hundreds of beautiful birds. “Let us know in advance we will be able to arrange it for you”. Day 6 (B-L-D) After a day off you’ll be feeling refreshed and ready to hit the waves again and we’re back to our 5am surf. Although it can be a little tough pulling yourself out of bed everyone is always glad they did it and nothing beats jumping in the sea for a dawn surf, especially when the sea is empty and the surf is at it’s best. After a big breakfast, there’s yoga and then free time before the afternoon session. Much like the other days we head back to the beach around 2.30pm for a surf and then it’s back to the camp around 5pm. You can have a cold beer then dinner. Day 7 (B-L-D) The last day have both surf and theory sessions, yoga and afternoon chilling but since it’s the last night we put on a bit of show for you. Once we are all back at camp after our afternoon surf we meet to watch a photo slideshow of the week surfing highlights and then stay at the camp for our final meal together followed by beers and a beach bonfire. Day 8 (B) if you want to surf yourself you can let us know in Friday evening we will arrange you the transport and surfboard, Check out is at 11am but you are welcome to hang at the camp for as long as you want.
