The property
Picturesque & remote in the bushes location that makes the perfect base for your Safaris camping experience in the Wilpattu National Park which has been specially chosen for its natural beauty and conveniently shaded areas of forest, which keep the temperature inside the tents cool and provide you with much needed respite from the sun. Many different wildlife species come to visit the camp and you can expect to wake up to the sound of tropical birdsong in the mornings.
Accommodation
Mobile Tent (1-2 pax) Featuring either a king size or 2 twin beds, these insect/waterproof South African mobile tents include a living area with camp chairs, roll down flaps for privacy, and solar powered lighting. The private bathroom area, which has an open-air hot/cold water shower, changing area and washbasin is located just outside the tent. A flushable sit-down toilet is attached to the living area of the tent
Cuisine
Besides serving traditional Sri Lankan cuisine using seasonal vegetables and fruit that they buy from local farmers, Enjoying evening drinks and meals around a campfire under a ceiling of sparkling stars is a highlight of any stay. All meals are usually a communal experience, however honeymooners can enjoy private dining on request. Our chefs can adapt our menus and we can cater to all dietary requirements.

We can customised family-orientated packages and offer discounted rates for younger children to make travelling with the kids that little bit easier. In between game drives, younger members of the family can get involved in our hosted kids’ activities whilst the parents take some time out to relax and unwind.

Day 1 (L-D)
At your arrival, you will be enjoying a lunch at the campsite & received a short briefing & introduction and taking some freetime for you to rest a bit or walk around the property. By 3pm you will head off for a 3hrs Sunset 4x4 game drive within Wilpattu NP where during the dusty ride, you could encounter Sri Lankan elephant, sloth bear, wild water buffalo, wildboar, various species of deers, multiple birds as well as being lucky to encounter the wildly the Leopard. At your way back to the campsite, refresh yourself away from the dust catch during the ride then chill out at the common area until you join for a dinner where you could mixed with others to share your experience. Rest of the evening free & easy
Day 2 (B-L-D)
An early morning wake up as by 5:00am you will enjoy a quick Tea, Coffee & small snack break before embarking back to your 4x4 for a 3hrs sunrise 4x4 drive into Wilpattu NP for you to explore another area who will offer you wonders to spot and observe, any drives can bring you amounts of unique encounters. You will be back at the camp site for a Sri Lankan breakfast time from there you will have free time until lunch, you can spend by relaxing by your tent, reading a (wildlife) book, bird watching in the area of the camp or even joining one of our Sri Lankan cooking classes.
By 3pm, we will depart for your 2nd Sunset 4x4 3hrs Game Drive into the National Park in chess to spot of course the famous Leopard as well as others shy species as chacal, fox, porcepine, as well as all others species can be spotted during sundown time.
Back to the camp for dinner time. Rest of your evening will be free and easy
Day 3 (B)
One more early morning wake up as by 5:00am you will enjoy a quick Tea, Coffee & small snack break before embarking back to your 4x4 for one more 3hrs sunrise 4x4 drive into Wilpattu NP for you to explore others landscapes & area which will provide you more surprising wildlife encounters to observe. You will be back to your camp site for a Sri Lankan breakfast time, then proceed to your check out.

What to Bring?

Departure
